We're having a problem with 3.4.03 where the setting for Private Forums in the Feature Settings section of the Admin area is getting reset to "off" apparently at random.
This is rather a pain as it then allows people to view and post in the private forums we have set up
You are sure this is done at random? Any other feature resetting as well? Also, have you had a look at your server logs to check if that reset occurs because and authorized user has chosen to do it?

I did not notice any other features being reset and when I go back to the Features page AFAICT the only feature that has been reset is the Private Forums feature

I don't have access to the server logs but we only ever set this feature on yesterday and it started resetting itself almost immediately (within 10 minutes or so) so I can't see that its a third part doing it.
I find it very weird that only that feature resets. There is no difference between the way a change in that feature is handled and the way other features are handled. What database are you using?
