Hey I searched for this but I couldn't find a way to fix this problem beyond loading 3.4 which is an older version.

I have created 50 seperate categories and within the categories I have 2 forums.

I can see Cat_ID=1 correctly but I cannot see any forums if I go to-
/forum/default.asp?Cat_ID=46

If I log in as an admin user I can see everything correctly but if I log in as a normal user or log out I can't see the forums again.

It also doesn't display the Category name above the forums which is weird.

Can anyone help me out here?

Updated test1 to admin level.
There is an iframe added into the copyright. This will all align up when I use a modified header that includes a table and stylesheet that isn't being used right now.

Can you upload a unchanged default.asp file, while backing up your current one, just to test whether it will work properly?

It is and unchanged version of default.asp
After I started having the problems I created a new folder with the latest version of snitz unmodified on there to see if that was the cause of the problem.

This is the folder you are looking at right now.

(msg on behalf of Jedinsyd)

We are using sql 2000.

We can directly link to a forum, ie: forum?_ID=23, using search we can view all the categories, its just the default page that is working incorrectly.

Yes, I have seen that myself. Don't know why though, that's why I wanted to have a look at your tables. Thought you were using Access. I have been able to fix a similar issue before, with an Access DB. Can I have a look at your tables?

There is nothing wrong with the Category table that I can see. I compared it with other Snitz databases I run on different sites and I can see no difference.

Can anyone else help me?

Can you connect to your BD using Query Analizer? If you can, try running this update query:

UPDATE FORUM_CATEGORY SET CAT_ORDER=CAT_ID
