Has anyone recently recieved an email from gmail telling you that the system will be down for a couple days and that if you wanted to access your mail you should use a link to a mail forwarding service?
I got a couple recently and it smells fishy. I forwarded it to google support, but haven't heard back yet.

I got another one telling me that my account is about to be cancelled for improper usage. It said that if I wanted to keep my account, I'd have to log in to the link provided.
The first one I got sounded much more convincing. This last one would have been more convincing if they could use proper grammar. I've forwarded on the emails just as the google help people requested. I'll leave it to them to handle.
