Hi All,

Over the past two weeks, I have been getting emails saying that people that register on our forum and getting the email, but when they click on the link, they get:

Quote:
"When I click on the link in order to complete the registration I recieve an "activation key missing/required" message!"

I have done a registration myself and cannot find issue. Can anyone help? Maybe I could post some of the asp files.

Thanks in advance.

Nick

I've had a few of those e-mails also, make sure they don't have a line break in the link, then it won't work. Maybe they should copy and paste the link into their browser instead.

Actually, that could be a very good point.

I think if you put the link in brackets that sorts the wrap around issue. Can the registration email be modified...

Yep, in the register.asp (I think) you will find the code. I've edited it a few times without problems. How could brackets solve the problem?

Actually... I don't know... but any email I get where the link is in brackets, it does not cut it.
