Hi there,

I have a Snitz V3.4.04 installed and now I want to modify the main top menu: Home/Profile/Register/Active Topics/Members/Search/Faq to my own language, which file should I change the codes (I mean changing those 7 words, the simplest way isn't it!) then the words for the Log In interface as well, after all, the words in the Register Panel for the guests who want to become a member (eg,.Email-Address, Username, Password, Homepage ect,..). That's all what I need for now). Thank you very much.<

There's a file called ing_header.asp at line 432 the subroutine starts that displays the menu you're after.<

Thanks Laser!

I really dont catch you, I dont see anything to change in this file. Could you tell me more?
By the way I really want to know if there is anyway for me to let members post online music to my forum (using [sign] or sort of) therefore all members can listen to music there, or do I have to install any mod for this? Do I have to install mode for more smiley icons?

Best Regards<

Starting at line 432, for about the next 15 lines you'll find the words you're after : Home/Profile/Register/Active Topics/Members/Search/Faq are all there ... well at least the first few .

You will have to install a MOD to get more smileys, but online music ?? .. hmmmm, where are the music files going to be stored ? Maybe using the File Attachment MOD might be the best idea in this case.<

Thank you laser, I will try the way you told me. About the music online as I see many forum they use the tag [sin]<embed ....>[/sign] then it will display a player on therefore we can play or stop music. But when I use this tag in my forum, it seems not to have any function, and It displays the tag as well, no player...

Can I follow what I want to do?<

Snitz doesn't know what the [sign] tag means, but there's nothing to stop you adding it. The way I would do it is to find the [b] tag in every Snitz file, and in around the same area add the code for your [sign] tag. There will be a bit of work involved, but it would be great when done.<
