I have a fairly vanilla snitz install. 3.4.03 is the version, I have the portal mod, site integration and topic maker but nothing more. Any time someone registers on the site, if the username is two words like El Diable or something it gives this message:

There Was A Problem With Your Details

You may not use any of these chars in your username !#$%^&*()=+{}[]|\;:/?>,<'

This has never happened before. How can I fix it? is this a known issue?

can you have them try to register on this site and see if they get the same error?

I can have them try. It always occurs when they use a username with 2 words and a space in the middle. None of the characters listed in Red on my original post were being used but that was the error that was generated...

I would check the modifications that you made to see if they might have caused this.
