Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me a hand, I'm a real newbie to this forum stuff, and need some help. We're running v3.4.03 with an Access DB. We have som mod's installed, but since the guys that have been running the Forum till now are extreamly busy, I can't seem to find out which mod's are installed... If some one could by any chance help me with the upgrade, I can mail/PM FTP login info.

Kind regards
Anders - Forum newbie

Upgrading will always be a two step process:

1. Install the base forum
2. Add changes required by each mod you want to install.

To install the base forum, simply upload all the new version files to your forum folder and run setup.asp. If all goes well (and it's likely the existing mod DB changes won't cause any troubles), you will have a base forum working. You will need to add the changes to each file according to the instructions available with mods you want to install.

Here's my existing config.asp:

There is no point in posting config.asp. Looks like you have active users mod installed.

Anyway, whenever you want to post a file, post it as a link to a text file, not by posting the code directly here.

read what I posted before

You also need to have a look at the readme file. There is a link to it in my signature, but you also have a copy in your downloaded files

Are you using base code unchanged files downloaded from Snitz? Have you changed inc_profile.asp?

I'd say you have an extra end if at line#481. Delete that line.

Check the changes you have done to that file, because you made mistakes changing it. Where I am now I cannot check it.

Be carefull with your changes to the files. These errors occur because you're missing some of the mod's installation instructions.
