okay, i'll outline my issue as best i can and we'll see if there's a solution.

i host a number of sites on a shared hosting setup. say one of the sites is mydomain.com, it's actual URL is hostingservice.com/membername/mydomain/, if you get the idea.

anyway, i've decided to run snitz on this site as mydomain.com/forum. sure enough, default.asp opens fine, but as soon as i enter my login details, it tries to redirect me to mydomain.com/membername/mydomain/forum/default.asp, a page that obviously doesn't exist. how do i change the settings so that the forum thinks its URL as mydomain.com instead of hostingservice.com/membername/mydomain/?

if this has been clearly explained and dealt with elsewhere, my apologies.

And in Admin Options make sure you don't include all the /membername/mydomain/ rubbish

hrmm, i've done that and it hasn't fixed the problem.

i've changed both the Home URL and Forum URL in the admin options and am still being redirected to the wrong directory.

on the 'server information' page, the URL, script name and path info come up as '/membername/mydomain/...etc'. which one of these do i need to change in order to fix the login problem and how?
