Yesterday the forum worked fine. This morning I found this error message:

-----------------
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

/forum/inc_func_common.asp, line 576
-----------------

and I haven't got a clue what has happend.

Tomas

The permissions are not correct on your database, check with your host to see if they have done anything if it suddenly stopped working.

OK - I have four options (in my FrontPage 2003). They are:
Aloud
-scripts to run
-turn over files
-anonymous file transfer
-file transfers overwritten files

What kind of data base security should I aloud?
Cheers
Tomas

Talk to your host. You cannot do it through FP. Tell them to give write permissions to anonymous internet user for the database folder and file.

If you search for 'updateable query', you will find a lot of posts on the issue.
