Hello, I've got the Snitz Forum 3.4.0.4 using an Access database. What I'm wanting to do is block registeration from free email accounts, such as yahoo, Hotmail, rock.com, gmail, Etc. Here lately, we've been getting a lot of people from yahoo and hotmail accounts abusing the board. I know that I can manually approve and reject registrations, but I want a more automatic solution. I'd also like to have a menu item in the administrator's options list to add the domains of free email accounts to the ever growing list instead of having to hard code it in everytime a new domains needs to be added.
I'd be more than glad to pay someone to develop this add-on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

ok, try this
download this file: click here
Inside that .zip file are 4 files:
admin_config_emaildomainfilter.asp admin_home.asp dbs_email_domain_filter.asp register.asp
I am assuming that you have not made any modifications to either your register.asp file or your admin_home.asp file, if you have, then don't overwrite your existing files
unzip those 4 files and upload them to your forum directory. Login to your forum and goto your Admin Options. In your Admin Options, click on MOD Setup and then choose "MOD: E-mail Domain Filter" from the dropdown list and then click on "Update!"
Next, go back to your Admin Options and click on the new link "E-mail Domain Filter Configuration". This is where you can add new domain names, and edit/delete existing ones (once you have added them).
Now, to test it out, try and register a new user with one of the e-mail domains that you chose to exclude.

Richard, You are the man!!! It worked like a charm. However, I forgot that I had the "email everyone" mod installed. I'll just redo that one and everything should be fine. If I have any problems, I know where to go.
Chad
P.S. Richard, Check your PayPal account for a little surprize!!
