Does anyone have any of this material available? I am looking at building an access database for my own purposes. I am currently searching on various search engines for this...

EDIT DATABASES OR LONG LISTS TO COMPILE INTO DATABASES...

thesaurus
encyclopedia
history
dictionary word of the day
quote of the day
short stories
tech support stories
jokes

Thanks

Thank you

project guttenburg(?) is what you're after for ascii-fied copyright-expired stories. Take time out from making a brute-forcing wordlist to read 'three men in a boat' by jerome k jerome, it is worth it :)

I once had a database with thousands of quotes in it that could be used for a random quote thing, but after having had a few hard drive crashes, and computer replacements, I haven't been able to find it. I should have some time to wade through my old backup CDs this weekend, so I'll let you know if I find it.

I have a small database with 2500 quotes (actually 2499), e-mail me if you want me to send it to you.

That might be the same I used to have... Some guy offered it on his site as freeware, but I haven't been able to find it when I needed it (isn't that how it always goes? lol)
