Hi all,
I've searched and searched for the answer to this but can't find it - so I'm posting here.
Is there a mod available or can someone help me with code - so that I can have today's events (I'm using the calendar mod) being displayed on the top page of my site (which is outside the forums directory). I've tried copying and pasting code from the cal_default.asp file, and experimenting with which files need to be included, but the only way I can get it to display the events is by having the forum header included - I don't want that, but I can't see which bit of it is necessary to make the events display properly.
HOpe this makes sense to you, Hope someone can give me a hand :)
thanks

I've had to something like that before. The best approach for you might be to go back & use the inc_header file, BUT take a copy of it, use the copy, and cut out all the rubbish that you don't want displayed (while keeping all the good stuff there).

Thanks laser,
I've got it fixed up now - it was one of those things that is completely obvious when you work it out!! - There is a bit in inc_header which sets my_Conn - and you can't really do without that can you?!!
