I am interested in setting up a Forum on our web site. Can someone tell me if there is a way to "screen" each post (for appropriate content) before it actually goes "live" to the site? I am interested in using this as a question/answer forum but don't want inappropriate content to be posted as a joke.

it's called moderation. you just need to enable moderation in admin options and then in each forum where you want to turn it on.

yes, you need to enable moderation for the forum
