this is just an idea, and i know itd take a hell of a lot of work, but how cool would it be to have a php-nuke style site management system built around snitz? itd also get quite a lot more people into snitz methinks. not at all suggesting there arent plenty already ;).
just wondered how many people like the idea (assuming its not been suggested before, havent seen it anywhere tho)...
woddya think? |

no, the portals only add one page. i mean an entire site mod - so you can put the mod on your site then use an admin section to personalise it ie using a post style thing to create pages so that you would have something like page.asp?PAGE_ID= for each page of the site. |

Huw's portal mod is not one additional page, nor is Serverhacker's. They both contain an entire portal site, with admin control over what to display. |

well, if they'd be a just one page mod, they would be a bit daft wouldn't it. However, they do not have what you describe a CMS function build in, where you could free-form create new pages. It wouldn't be that difficult though...I created a CMS from Snitz 3.305 in 2 days.... |

My site is based on Snitz and is completely web based. I have an editor that posts articles, he or other staff members can create infinite categories and sub directories, the home page reflects new articles for categories, images are uploaded via web forms. Basically no one needs to get their hands dirty in code. It just takes a combination of MODs already existing. You can install them all and be happy as can be within a couple of days.
