Why not post your question here? I just got the Adobe CS a few weeks ago and try to mess around with it a while every day, so I probably won't be able to help you, but I could search for an answer, and it might benefit me (and perhaps others) too

I am trying to take an existing logo and alter it. I have almost zero skills at PS hence my request.

I would rather not post the graphic here because I am trying to keep it somewhat secret (it is for a new website).

You don't have to post the logo to ask your question.

To add to laser's question:
what format is the logo in now? If it's a PSD file, is it layered, and if so are they vector or bitmap objects?
