Also grab Hijackthis and Spybot search and destory, generally speaking no one single program tends to find all of the spyware software out there, using multiple will give you a greater chance of finding and removing it.
If your browser is Internet Explorer, then I would also recommend you that you immunize your system and permanently block subsequent spyware from altering your IE settings with spybot S&D 1.3 after you have scanned and cleaned your system of adware and spyware. You could also turn on the resident feature in spybot which will alert you when you navigate to sites trying to download known adware or spyware to your system. This protection however comes with a little inconvenience but worth the hassle.... you won't be able to access internet options from the tools menu in IE anymore, you will have to go through control panel instead.
