hi , I am having a problem like this but mine is a little different.My mails aren't being sent to the users.They don't even seem as bulk mail.I just changed my host firm.I didn't have a problem like that with my old firm.And I haven't changed options of mail configuration. But it is strange that I can receive the mails that my forum sends. I mean my mail address is user@myhost.com and the mail address which is being sent by my forum is admin@myhost.com . So my mail host is able to get the mails in seconds but other mail servers can't. Another thing is that if I send the mails manually (by using my mail panel that my host gave to me ) all of the mails I send are going to the target mail inbox. So isn't that foolish...? Note : I see mail config panel mail preferences as CDOSYS(ISS 5/5,1/6) , JMAIL 3.X , JMAIL 4.X .I tried all of them but it hasn't worked
Hi I have fixed sending mail by my forum.The problem had been in inc_mail.asp . But this time I have another question about spam mails.I have sent information mail to my members by my forum. I did install the sending mail to all users mod (I have forgotton the name of the mod but I think there is only one mod for this). But this time hotmail takes the mail that I send to the junk mail folder.I have asked my host firm if what can I do for this and they told me not to send more than 20 mails at the same time.I have searched if my mail server ip is spammer in www.spews.org.And the result is clear.I don't seem as a spammer.But hotmail takes my mails to junk mail folder and you know that hotmail junk mail folder is being deleted in 5 days.So some members can not be informed.I have searched in hotmail but couldn't find a link or mail addres to say I AM NOT A SPAMMER. One more question ::: Is there a mod to group the forum members mails but I want to group them by myself.I mean gouping mails not more than 20... (Sorry for my english..I wish you have understood) So can anyone tell me how to say hotmail not to take my mails to take to junk mail folder?
