It's preferable to the blue and I like the fact that you've removed the red hover colour. Still not sure about the green though. Maybe a very pale yellow would be better?

to help try out different color combinations.

In the color world, there are definite complimentary colors. I was brought up in the science world of "subtractive" color which uses RC BY GM as complimentary colors: (Red/Cyan Blue/Yellow Green/Magenta)
Ignore that. But be aware that certain colors work in harmony.

As a rule, any page i have snitz code in, i had ince_header.asp/inc_header_short.asp and inc_footer.asp As this adds all the copyrights that are needed.
