Any admin can move topics between categories easily enough, except for any entry created by the forum admin. We are using NT challenge on the local network and I am not able to log in differently since i have but one Active Directory profile.

If i make an entry (create a topic) another admin is NOT able to move it or manage it. It appears that anything done by the forum creator has "superuser" authority that even an assigned admin can not manage.

Right now the only potential workaround i can think of is ask the network group for an additional ForumAdmin network active directory account, go into the files and set that account up as the forum admin and my account as the administrator, then log off/on/off/on each time I need to manage one of those topics that I have already entered (currently about 150)

Is there an easier way to flag something in the code or file that will allow the admins to move topics without the headaches that I am about to pursue"?

That was the way the forum was designed. Maybe the info here can help:

http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=43674&SearchTerms=2,superadmin

Of course, instead of adding another user as superadmin, you could also remove the priviledges for the SuperAdmin, but I cannot recommend that.

Thanks Ruirib. Is that id only in the config.asp, or is it (as is mentioned) in about 11 asp programs?
