Why is it that we have to continually login in over and over again, especially in the Admin area or every time we go to edit our profiles, etc.

it is called security, and is to prevent people from using your cookie to get in and edit your profile. Admin is slightly different, and you will nly need to log in again if your session expires (or you close your browser)

Good to know...just wanted to make sure it was something deliberate and not something I screwed up in settings :)
