I have been trying for a long time to get this up and running and no one is able to help me. I keep getting "Operation must use an updateable query." error when trying to setup the forum. I was told I need to go into security tab on properties and setup read/write permissions etc. for me. I did that already, and tried everything else that was suggested, and I cant get it working. It's not just snitz it's any script/web app I try to run on my computer that gives me this error so it's go to be something in windows. i went into safe mode with networking and setup the user/group settings but still no change. There isn't anything I can do to get this stupid error to go away. I also tried to setup WebWizForums and it give me "Page cannot be displayed, database is read only" error. but it's NOT readonly I've checked the folder, the wwwroot and the file itself, nothing is set to read only. can anyone out there tell me how to fix this so i can get snitz installed.
running xp pro iis
