inc_header (for log in/out) post_info (for new topics/replies/edits/creating new forums) login (for log in) inc/pop_profile (for creating/editing profiles) (also look at register.asp as I think there might be something in there for after creating a profile).
Im almost certain thats it! (outside the admin features anyway).
If you have the Private Message MOD, then there is privatesend_info (for new PM's/replies) PM_delete (after deleting PM's) privatedelete (also for after deleting PM's) PM_options (after changing options) |

Don't forget all the admin pages and popups for deleting, mailing, etc..

does anyone bother to change the admin pages tho? I dont! On my forum I have completly re-designed the general look of it, but I never touch the admin files. (I did say this above anyway, outside the admin files).
As for the pop_up pages, I guess: pop_lock/Pop_open (locking and un-locking members) pop_delete (for deleting posts/topics) pop_mail (for e-mails send, with e-mail functions turned on) pop_messenger???? (icq has somewhat of a mail send feature????) ....I think thats it for pop_up (that are not for admin only use). |

there is also pop_moderate (for aproving/holding posts for moderated forums)
The best way to check, is once you have your forum code changed to how you think you want it. do a final check. Look at every page and test every feature 'through the eyes of' -member not logged in -member logged in (also test edit/delete own posts) -moderator -admin |

Sorry 'bout that; missed it in your first post. As for admin pages, customising them depends whether I'm going to be the only one using them or not; if I'm setting up a forum for a client, I'll always redesign them. S'pose it's a matter of opinion, though.

yea course there is that, designing for someone else.
I have always thought that if I had time, I would do a complete re-haul of the admin section. What I would like is to have a frames structure, all the links down the left hand side and the actual page to open on the right. Just like the phpbb boards do. I actually hate frames and would never ever design a site with them (or at least for a good reason) however, for the admin section I think it would work! |

I always MOD the admin_**.asp pages to go with the rest. To me it just looks neater and pretty. We all like pretty things, right? |
