In the faq area on the Snitz site I see the following:

"Snitz allows you to plug into the functions and security and implement it across your whole site"

I have a membership based website that I have been running for over 8 years and would like to use Snitz. However, my membership database has 'extra' data such as "Primary School", "University", "Originally From City", "Originally From Country", etc.

My question is how can I plug into the functions and security and implement it across my site and have it keep the extra details that are improtant to my membership database?

Are there instructions for this somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

The Universal Login MOD would be the first place to look. The only problem I can see is that you have 2 membership tables, so some custom code would be needed or a decision made as to where the membership validation needs to be (probably in Snitz). That would happen after you've added the extra fields to the Snitz member table.

Bottom line : There is some work to do, but it is possible.

thanks for the info.

I have decided to just use what Snitz has and focus on building my site instead of spending time modifying this and that in Snitz cause I would always have to make mods as new versions come out. I need to spend more time putting CONTENT into my sites and building my membership base to keep visitors to my sites.

So, forgetting the extra fields of my old system and over to Snitz!

BTW, it would be a great idea to include several User Defined fields in Snitz.

Thanks again.
