Am looking for an easier method of setting the "do not archive" flag on forum topics. I looked for a mod doing this already and have had no luck finding one as of yet. Anyone know of one or want to tackle making a mod like this?

I need either a way to flag some (many) threads as Do Not Archive or a way to just archive the others one by one.
The same topics come up in my forum over and over and those I do not want to archive no matter how old they are. I don't want to lock the topic either. The others as timely and should be archived. I have 2193 topics and 38365 posts and need to archive some of it.

Is there a current method other than making them "sticky"? I started a mod for this (almost finished) but then I noticed there are 2 icons in 3.4 folder and , that seem to be for somethig like this.
Just curious, because I can't find where these icons are used .
