I have a small website and wanted to add a forum to it. I wasn't sure the best website to mirror for down loading or what to look for. I really don't know too much about this stuff and was overwhelmed by the instructions. Is there anyone willing to talk me throught it via the phone ?? I would call you on my nickle of course. I know it's an odd request, but it would be a big help to me. Many thanks, Rick

a phone call isnt really needed.

A little more info and anyone of the members here will be willing to help.

What host do you use?
Do they allow ASP to be used?
What DB can you use?

If they don't support ASP, but they do support PHP, you could try:

http://www.phpbb.com

or:

http://www.invisionboard.com/

I am having the same confusion about installation of version 3.4. Is there any written documentation that explains how to put the forum up and running.

1. I downloaded the software and extracted the files which are gif and asp. I then uploaded them to my ftp. What do i do now?

My host has My sql, perl, asp

Thank you for your reply
