The Previouse/Next Topic are only in the header of the topic... you read all the way down through a topic... and then if you just want to go to the next topic... you have to scroll all the way to the top again... anoying.

Why not use the link to go back to the top?

That's why you got us to remind you of such things Mike, knowing your memory isn't what it used to be(just from looking at your pic).

Sure, it would probably help in navigating the forums a bit easier. But nothing too high on the priority list.

Best thing would be to use the header row backgroundcolour for the footer also then, that way the admin icons in the header and footer look more the same. And they should since the do the same.

How about something like this ?

I just added the table header to the bottom of the table also. (ie. author/topic/admin icons) and then removed the admin icons that were already at the bottom of the table.

Of courst author can be removed and topic can be named something different.

yes... but then there is the issue of "Paging"

that all gets bumped down yet another line... which makes the whole page one line longer... etc etc...

Pros/Cons?

Actually the line that the paging will be on is already there. It's occupied by a space if there is only 1 page.

oh... thought it was flush on the base of the tables...

either way though... if we get this paging thing sorted out wiht a simple dropdown... that can go in that space where "Author" text used to be.
