I am trying to install FP Extensions on a website thru FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 Server Administration and everytime i set the admin username and hit submit it comes back with an error saying
An exception occurred after RevertToSelf. Reverting to user...
I have searched the internet and can not find this error anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?
Never had that... Reverting to user (...) which user is displayed there - the one you are logged on as on the computer? I do not believe FPSE needs to impersonate any user as long as you are logged on as admin on the machine when you are trying to extend a site.
Can you reproduce exactly what you are doing? Have you tried to extend via coamndline?

Never tried thru the command line because dont know exactly the syntax. I did however reproduce the error on another domain where I deleted the FP extensions and tried to reinstall them and then the exact same error came up.
