lol if u were using your computer in a plane and the plane turned on its side (lol whats it called when they do that?) would that count as rotating your screen or not?

not if your rotating with it, becuase the width and height of the resolution is relative to how youre looking it...

The height is the vertical side. The width is the horizontal side.

If an object has a specific way it should stand up, then the height and width is fixed, when in it's correct position. Like a box for example. If it has that marking that says "right side up", then when it is right side up, you measure the height and width.

In the case of a screen, if it can be used both ways by rotating it, then I believe the height and width changes as you rotate it. It's not fixed.

But since this is in the community forum, it's not too much of a problem. If it was in a help forum, we wouldn't tolerate that kind of thing.
