Anyone know of a really really good chat room software based in ASP.net? I have a project in mind and need something to look at as a start.

Don't know sorry. But I did write a IM program w/ server and login utility in .NET but it was VB.NET not ASP.NET :(

umm isnt vb.net and asp.net the same? i have not yet learned .net but i thought they were both the same thing.

Brad, .NET is a simple set of guidelines almost. asp.net can consist of vb or c#. Most people are going with the c# route. This is how I understand it.

ASP.NET is the front-end language (intertwined with HTML, etc). VB.NET (much like C#.NET) is the back-end language.
