I don't think people neccesarilly need local Proxy Caches .. theres enough caching out there now causing problems and sometimes adding another is just asking for more trouble :). Your browser already caches, and your ISP almost definitely transparently caches .. so having yet another one in between doesn't seem to add much benefit as far as caching goes at least.
IE Proxy settings won't need to be set if you don't run ISA in most instances anyway you'll be routing through your firewall rather than the SBS Server (to me makes more sense to do it that way, your SBS is then basically Web, File, Print, Email and possibly DHCP and DNS serving and pinhole/port forward your router to the server on an as required basis). |
