Well, i feel dumb now. I've always had someone set them up for me.
A few months ago i got myself a domain name, but i never got hosting for it. I just didnt need it that this point.
I got the domain with 123-reg.com
tonight i got myself some hosting, but i got this with asp-web-hosting.net
i've been told i have to set the DNS to point to the asp-web-hosting.net server, so i went to 123-reg.com, logged in and was all ready to do it. It says:
quote:
Warning - only use this page if you are familiar with DNS. If you are unsure please seek advice. An error may result in you losing email, or your website being down whilst propagation takes place.
And, as i'm not sure what to do, i thought i would ask. Can anyone help? Anyone used 123-reg.com before?
on it says:
quote:
Hosting Package: e-****s URL: http://www.e-****s.net/ Name Server Records: ns1.asp-web-hosting.net - 80.94.196.41 ns2.asp-web-hosting.net - 80.94.197.41
and on 123-reg it says:
quote:
NS.HOSTEUROPE.COM 212.67.202.2 NS2.HOSTEUROPE.COM 212.67.203.246
I understand i have to put ns1.asp-web-hosting.net - 80.94.196.41, ns2.asp-web-hosting.net - 80.94.197.41 in there, i just dont know how or where on the 123-reg.com page.
Any help, please?
