I really like this mod, but the only thing that has stopped me from installing it on my forum was the response from some of my members. A couple pointed out that it may encourage random-pointless posts, just to get a higher rank.
Shame.... I liked it |

Thanks MYLE, your suggestion did the trick. I needed this line: intRankLevel1 = int(intranklevel5 * .1) |

Yeah, I have had something of a problem like that. But still, it's more than worth it because it really gets people to come to my forums on a regular basis. |

I would just really wish that this great mod was as easy configuratable as the rest of the system, so that it was possible from the Admin menu to adjust the levels....... |

Sorry, I haven't created an interface. But it's still easy to edit the ratios.
Go into inc_func_highpost.asp and edit the intRankLevel* commands to what you desire. |

Have you worked at all on a system to exclude certain members from the dynamic level counts? |

Yes. Sorry, I haven't been around these forums as much as I used to.

Re-download this file. Extract the files into your forums directory.
Then, open up inc_func_highpost.asp in notepad, and follow the directions inside to exclude members. |
