i am using NT auth mode on v3.4.04, with require registration ON and NT AutoLogon OFF
When a new user enters the forum they dont always see the message at the top of the screen saying they need to register... which means they go straight into the forums and try and post, they are then presented with a topic posting screen with a UserName and Password field that need to be completed. The user then gets confused and mails me for support asking for their username and password!
I did use the AutoLogon feature which would stop this but found that the user would be registered without asking for their email and other profile details.
Whats the best way to bounce a new user to the registration page or force them to register?
