i have a question; is it possible to integrate the switz forum with a excisting website, who have login with a username and password.
I think the snitz forum is very good and it fit us very good, but can we integrate it with the ecxisting website?

We use MSSQL and ASP.

thanxs for a great site.

Sure you can! There are many examples out there -- check out the past Hall of Fame winners. A couple of the sites I've worked on integrate Snitz within the site are CCToday.com and BigBlueBall.

You might also want to take a look at D3mon's Site Integration Mod. It can make the integration process much easier.

hmm the site integration mod doesnt change the membership as well tho... tho the membership isnt too hard (well i hope it isnt cos im about to attempt it on my site) you'd just need to set the registration and login for the site membership to use the forum database (and make sure cookies are set to "site" not "forum")... or vise versa

oohh...this look good, just what i search after.
but the thing is that we already have members, who have username and passwords, how can i integrate this members to the snitz forum, so that they dont need to register at the forum too.
or can i link the forum to our memberlist in the MSSQL? so that the forum goes to the current memberlist we have on the website.

(i hope u understand what i mean, my english is not so good).

thanxs

Try searching. That has been asked and answered many, many times. For example, here:

Wow, how did you manage to integrate that CC website! I'm currently going mad here trying to integrate my forum into a fairly simple site, stuff just keeps moving all over the place. Could someone please help me out? All i really want to do is get the forum the right width so its readable in smaller browsers, and move the forum menu to the left and all into one line.

Thanks

almost forgot the forum is currently here
