Hi,

I want to know if there is a mod in which you can archive members. Archived members can only be viewed by admins in the admin section. On the normall page the archived member is gone. In the archived member section an option that you can reinstate a member would be great.

I ask you all this because i have a gamerswebsite. I run snitz forums on that website. We have alot of accounts, but i don't want to delete them. I would like to save them so i still have there ip and e-mail address. By archiving a member it will keep my memberlist clean, but i have still the data in the archived member list.

I looked around, but cought not find this any where. Is someone interessed in to making this mod? I think it would be a very usefull mod!!

Thanks

Just a suggestion.

Snitz isn't set up to archive even individual topics, so to find a coding example of archiving individual members probably isn't readily available.

If you know how to do it, you should be able to just hide those members on members.asp according to their last log in date and according to your admin level.

I don't have the time to code it for you right now. OneWayMule likes to write MODs. Maybe hook up with OWM and see what comes of it, ok?

Cheers,

Etymon
