I recently installed the avatar mod in version 3.4.04. They work but I loaded avartars that I do not like and want to remove them.

Is there a way to mass remove avatars?

Also when I go into the avatar setup and delete an avatar they still show in the avatar list of users profiles. How do I remove from uses profiles as well?

I don't think there is a ready-made mod for mass-removing avatars, although you could write a custom function to remove the avatars you want to remove.

You have to edit each member's profile if you want to change their chosen avatar, but that is a lot of work. It is much easier to just remove the avatar image from your webserver (deleting the avatar in avatar setup doesn't remove the image from the webserver, only from the database). That should encourage your members to change their avatar to an existing one, instead of having an X as an avatar.
