Yeah, I just wanted a bit more anonymity when I participate in forums.

Wonder how many hits that will get you? Not jealous, honest.
Well, there's been no spike in traffic yet, but could be too soon to tell. Honestly, I'm not really expecting much extra traffic from that. And even if I do get the extra traffic, it is probably going to be almost worthless (low conversion). |

Shame there's no referrer - and that the page has no Page Rank. It would have been interesting to see how many people would have clicked through from there. You may get people clicking on the ads to see how they work, if they're reading the page in the interest of signing up for AdSense. I'm sure it's still new to some people! |

The page has no PR because it's new and probably has no spidered inbound links (Google's new way of doing things), and I don't think it can pass on PR because it's a secure page. |

Good point. In any case, there's not actually a direct link to your page, as far as I can see. |

Actually, there is one, here. Again, I don't know if a secure page can give PR, though. |

Erin, I just logged into my Amazon.com affiliate area and noticed that your site is one of the big 'movers & shakers' of the week! According to the Amazon site, your Alexa ranking has gone up a whopping 289%. Whether it's worthless traffic or not, that's a fantastic increase! |

Well, I don't think that's a result of the Google article. In fact, my traffic has remained steady and predictable; nothing out of the ordinary. |

Whoa, I just clicked on my details listed in the Amazon associates page:
+ 289% ~ Weekly Traffic Rank: 844 (was 2347)
Um, there's no way in heck that that figure is right. Actually, either of those figures (2347 => 844). |
