What I did is to cut and paste the navigation part of the code in inc_header.asp to a new file. That new file can then be customized to your own layout and included where you want it via:
%><!--#include file="name_of_new_file.asp"--><% For the navigation part in inc_header.asp look for the following sub: sForumNavigation() Another think that might help you is to use the Mod: Site Integration. http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=33757 |

evol, it depends on how much ASP you understand, but as adslonline said (basically) :
In inc_header.asp there is a sub called sForumNavigation. You have to alter/rewrite this to suit your needs. |

Evol, sorry if my reply was a little too difficult.
You can find my navigation code of the file inc_header.asp here: http://marnix.adslforum.nl/snitz/navigation.txt
You can try to find that code in your own inc_header.asp
The text links can be replaced by images (buttons) as shown on the site of David. For example replace "Profile" with <img src=""profile.gif""> |

Sure, here is a link to it: http://marnix.adslforum.nl/snitz/header.txt
Evol, I use David's portal mod also and did the following:
* Change inc_header.asp by removing the navigation code * Include the navigation code as a 'sub' in portal.asp * Type: Call sForumNavigation() in portal.asp where you want the links to be displayed. |
