I'm having some performance issues with my forums. Sometimes when I try to pull up the forums, the browser will just hang. It doesn't give me a 404 error or anything, it just continues trying to load the forums, but will never come up. I tried to find out if it happens at certains times of the day to figure out some sort of patttern to it, but it seems to happen at random times.
I have the latest version of Snitz with only Site Integration and Smile Manager Plus mods installed.
I have another forums install setup for testing purposes and the lag doesn't seem to be a problem for that one. That install has the Site Integration and Calendar mods. So, my guess it that my problem has something to due with the Smile Manager Plus mod. Is that possible?
My web host is running Windows Server 2003. I have contacted their tech support and they are not sure what the problem is, but think it has something to do with the ASP code. They said that no one else on their servers is having ASP performance issues. |
