OK Sorry about the dramatic title, but thats how i feel, ive been going round an round in circles for over a week trying to install the following on the latest version Snitz Forum.
points mod-34-05b
antispam registration 3304-10
classifieds 34-12~1
email reminder to pe-34-11~1
forum_rules 34-13
front page news 34-160
password reset 3304-1
Admin tools (completed successfully)
spell checker 34-340301
welcome letter-34-10
Managed to get the forum tools set up ok, no problems, its ythe others that are causing problems.
Cant implement
points mod-34-05b
antispam registration 3304-10

HOW IN THE BLUE HECK TO I IMPLEMENT THESE SO THEY CAN BE ACCESSED ???
anyone fancy setting it all up for me / ive spent a week doing it and still cant wor it out.
I still have a couple of mods i want to install, but dont think i will bother unless someone can point me in the right direction.

- read the readme's
- install & test one by one
- document errors here
- ALWAYS provide a txt file, so we can see the code
Or if you want someone to do it for you, some people will charge, some will do it for free. |

i can son send the neccesary files over in a zip file, its just giving me way too much of a headache, driving me crazy, and getting to the stage that i just want to yell at the thing.
Read all the readme's, did it one by one, still nought tho,
Not sure how to link it all in is the main problem, how do i link it all together ??
one further thing, i haver the "Points Store" all set up now, but for some reason, cant access the stuff you can "Buy", it goees to the right page, but no items listed.
hmmm.......... BIG headache for me as its first time i used a SNITZ forum. |

Sounds like you've jumped straight into the deep end instead of testing the water first  Do you need all these MODs straight away ? Maybe prioritise the order and work thru them. |

as it goes, yes i do need all those mods, trouble IS, I'm doing the forum for a friend, and they want ALL the mods they sent over via e mail included within the forum, BESIDES WHICH, as soon as its done, im going to download a backup of the site, and use it on my own site, to save doing it all twice.
AND YES, i did jump straight in at the deep end, mainly because i find i learn a heck of a lot faster if i do. |
