lol referer mod not working, custom error message so i dont no where, messes up register.asp - well the error happens when u try to get to register.asp anyway  |

| Wouldn't the first step be to temporarily remove the custom error page/s so you can see what's wrong ? Debugging is usually like shooting fish in a barrel, but at the moment you're also blindfolded and midnight in a room with no windows and no lights. |

| Referer mod was not done for Snitz 3.4.03, so I can't even know what you did to implement it on your site, much less to find out what error you're getting... Maybe if you care to tell us what you did, instead, it would be easier to help. |

| ok i did the original instructions first then i added the code i found in another topic here that said that it made it possible to use on 3.4.03... |

That post does not say the mod is usable with 3.4.03, only that it can solve the registration problem for that version. The registration problem is just a part of the problems with using a firewall as NIS.
Have looked at the files, the changes for the mod seem to have been adequately added, what is the error you get? |
