To remove a MOD, you replace the files that have been edited with the files you saved as backups before you started installing the MOD. If you didn't make any backups, you have two options depending on whether or not any other MODs have been installed: - if other MODs have been installed, you can manually undo all the changes for the avatar MOD in the necessary files - if other MODs have been installed, you can take "new" copies of the files from the forums' ZIP file and add the necessary changes to add the other MODs - if you don't have any other MODs installed, you can manually undo all changes you made to install the avatar MOD in the necessary files - if you don't have any other MODs installed, you can take "new" copies of the files from the forums' ZIP file and use those
You shouldn't have to worry about the database, as long as the field/table for the avatar chosen by a member isn't required to have something entered. If it is, you can either remove the avatar field/table by editing the database, or you can create a hidden field in the profile and registration page that will automatically set the avatar chosen by the member to none. |

I guess that it is in topic.asp you don't get the avatars to display? I visited your forum, but I cannot see any topic in which a poster has an x instead of their avatar. Could you link to a topic where the error occur in?
If is topic.asp you have problems with, could you post a link to a text-version of your topic.asp? Do you have any other mods installed on your forum? |
