My server provider moved our forum server recently and I now get the following error when I click on Home in our forum:

Disallowed Parent Path

/dea1/usmc/forum/include/inc_events.asp, line 1

The Include file '../cal_functions.asp' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory.

A similar error code is given when I click on Events Calendar and Resources. As was suggested in a simlar thread, I have replaced all files from my zip folders but it has not helped. Any other ideas on how to fix this issue?

that is a setting on the web server. you will need to talk to your host.

You could also simply change the line in inc_events.asp to show the entire URL (ie http://(whatever)/forum/include/inc_events.asp)

Nikkol, I tried that but got the message:

The include file 'http://<server>/dea1/usmc/forum/cal_functions.asp' was not found.

I'll email the server admin and see if he can enable parent paths.
