Got the latest version installed with a clean installation. Creating, updating, making admin changes - all this works great.

The problem occurs when I click on my profile, I log in as the ADMIN of the site, make the necessary mods, such as email address, quotes, etc, then click submit. I get an error that looks like this:

There Was A Problem With Your Details

Your request was not sent due to the following error: Permission denied

What do I need to do to correct this?

the only things I can think that would give you a permission denied is either your database does not have the correct permissions, or you do not have permission to access the asp mail component you are using.

Yes. Looks as if I was having issues with the email config and didn't know what to do about it. Yesterday, shortly after making the post to this forum, I changed the email config and got it working. I hadn't tried to update my profile and email address since making the change, but trying it now with the new config does seem to work normally.

Thanks for the quick response and pointer!

John
