I modified the original script to produce a menu of the feeds available(since I have over 20 being 'grabbed'). Another mod is that there is a front-end I use to get a specific set of feeds. The original script allows one .ini file with a list of feeds, now I can create multiple .ini files and pass a Querystring to the front-end to display the different feed categories.
I am planning on writing my own grabbing code that will use a db and server-side scripts to cache the feeds as I am finding my site is hanging quite a bit lately with 25+ feeds and moderate traffic. If anyone is interested in a Snitz mod where admins/mods can configure rss feeds to be displayed let me know. I am thinking of some ideas for my re-write and using snitz in conjuction might not be a bad idea.
