It's a megabyte larger or so. I don't know if it's my system or not, but it pulls up websites really slow, even from the cache.

Probably because of the caching. It is saving the page as you download it. As in previous versions it didn't.

Not removing my Firebird just yet.

I upgraded in the same hour that 0.8 final was released and to be honest I cannot notice much difference at all it seems they are getting near 1.0.

Hopefully FireFox won’t become as extinct as its namesake. Perhaps a better model would have been the English Fox – everywhere before you know it and impossible for anyone to restrict the numbers. With IE being so bad it, like the English Fox, no longer has any natural predators.

Version .8 doesn't seem as stable as version .7 I think I'm going back for now.
