people are hacking into computers running on these OS's via IE (and OE seen as it uses IE to display messages) Microsoft have released a patch for this... I'll put a link there from Jezchat in about 4 hours time - when I'm on my normal computer

The patch addresses several IE vulnerabilities actually. the username@password is just one of them.
