I got a spam email from...

http://hostingprod.com/@softwareforp2p.com/index.html

But it look like something to check out. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm pretty sure that's an example of phishing...

instead of going to http://hostingprod.com , it's really sending you to http://softwareforp2p.com/index.html

I would stay away from it if I were you...

I guess I dont understand what you mean by sending you to http://softwareforp2p.com/index.html or http://www.softwareforp2p.com/index.html which are both invalid links

yes, they are valid links, but the link you posted above:

http://hostingprod.com/@softwareforp2p.com/index.html

is their attempt at hiding the fact that you are going to http://softwareforp2p.com/index.html instead of http://hostingprod.com/

at least it looks like that to me.

Yes, it is the IE exploit it is using, to disguise the correct address you are going to. You think you are going to one address when you click the link, but you end up at another address. Microsoft hasn't patched it yet. They say next month.

I would stay away from it if I where you.
