I hope someone can clue me in on this so I don't waste my time trying it again .
In the Snitz forum sql they have something like this:
SELECT C.CAT_ID

When I try to use this method I get an "unknown table" error. So I have to write like this (all the mods I've looked through use this also) :
SELECT " & strTablePrefix & " CATEGORY.CAT_ID

I've searched through the files and forums for an answer to this a few times in the past with no success. I thought I'd ask this time .

Well its more like this...

SELECT C.CATID, F.FORUMID FROM FORUM F, CAT C WHERE CID=XXX

Sorry maybe I should say a little more. After your specify the table name to pull the information out of you can give it a smaller name (alias) for easier reference so when you say FROM FORUM F Then you are saying everytime you do F.BLAH then F really means FORUM
