They can use the "Forgot your password" link that is available in the top right hand side of the page when a person is logged out. (that is if you have e-mail enabled on your forum)

The only other way to do it would be to change the user's password and then send them the password that you changed it to.

I don't have a Forgot Password Link, weather logged-in or out.

In the Admin Options it says E-Mail Server Configuration. And there it says E-Mail Mode. I never saw that and just realized it was off.

Since I made it on I now see the Forgot Password link.

Thanks!

you don't have your forum url setup properly:

Admin Options --> Main Forum Configuration --> Forum URL

it should be:

http://66.206.14.12/aspchat/aspchat26/aspforum2/

that would give you this link:

http://66.206.14.12/aspchat/aspchat26/aspforum2/password.asp?pwkey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

nope.

What happens is the user chooses a new password.

there is no way to "decrypt" the "encrypted" password in the database.
